Road closures

Dear Guests and Visitors,

On Sunday July 8, 2012 the IRONMAN European Championship will take place in Frankfurt and the “Rhein-Main”-Area. More than 2.300 athletes from over 55 nations will start the race to fight for one of the 75 qualification slots for the IRONMAN World Championship in Hawaii.

A 2-loop bike course will lead the athletes through Frankfurt downtown, the Main-Kinzig-Kreis and Wetteraukreis to end in Frankfurt again.

The roads of the total bike course are closed for public traffic!

From 5:00am to 5:00pm there might be traffic delays. You will find some information on the road closures in the listed sections:
