Dear Guests and Visitors,

On Sunday July 7, 2013 the IRONMAN European Championship will take place in Frankfurt and the “Rhein-Main”-Area. More than 2.500 athletes from over 50 nations will start the race to fight for one of the 100 qualification slots for the IRONMAN World Championship in Hawaii.

A 2-loop bike course will lead the athletes through Frankfurt downtown, the Main-Kinzig-Kreis and Wetteraukreis to end in Frankfurt again.

The roads of the total bike course are closed for public traffic!

From 5:00am to 5:00pm there might be traffic delays. You will find some information on the road closures in the listed sections:

    More than 2,500 athletes from 51 nations will face the challenge of the Frankfurter Sparkasse IRONMAN European Championship. 2,4 miles swim in Waldsee Langen, 112 mile bike in the surrounding of Frankfurt and a 26.2 mile run on the banks of Main River with a finish on the famous Römerberg.
