The swim portion of the race will take place in the “Langener Waldsee”, a popular recreational lake just 12km south of Frankfurt.

Transport from Downtown Frankfurt to the start by the Frankfurt city bus system will be free of charge for all competitors.

There will be a water start of all competitors at the same time (no wave start). It is a two-lap-course with a short running passage between the two laps.

Thousands of spectators around the lake will see a spectacular swim start and can follow the race very close to the athletes.

More than 10’000 parking slots are available nearby.

The swim start line is direct inside the “Strandbad Langener Waldsee”. Start and finish of the swim course are in the same area. The athletes have to swim 3,8 km, with a short running passage over the beach
